As a child, my first thoughts of Oogie Boogie were “NOPE.” I just knew watching The Nightmare Before Christmas, that the whole movie would give me nightmares for years. I actually didn’t muster up the strength to watch it again until a couple of years ago. Granted, I still love Jack and Sally all this time. Also, I looked through Pinterest for the “right” images that portrayed what I wanted to share with all of you so I only have two images this go around. I think that succinct images are better than too many. So, in the comments, I want to know what movie character scared you as a child.
Grungy. I wanted something that looked dirty because Oogie Boogie looks like he is just rolling in dirt all day and plotting too.
Burlap is something that Oogie Boogie wears so well. I think that the incorporation of burlap really brings someone down to earth, literally.
