Oh, is it really already the end? By the time you read this I will have started school and it is just the saddest. I didn’t get around to writing about my last week in London until now so I apologize. Well, my last week was a doozy. I went to The Globe Theater and went on a really nice tour in the sunshine. I went to The Real Greek and ate lamb and saffron rice and then went back to The Globe Theater to get an exterior picture.
Feeling Sensational? I went to Sensational Butterflies right outside The Natural History Museum. I loved how stunning the butterflies were. The museum shot below the butterflies is from the first story of the Victoria & Albert Museum and if you have the time to do an all day adventure there, I would definitely recommend that.
Another day, another adventure. In the early morning, I went to Buckingham Palace to see Queen Elizabeth’s gowns. I was so happy to see that there were few tourists around Buckingham Palace because I could enjoy the beauty. Go around 8-9 in the morning for good photos, across the garden area too. Afterward, Camden Market! I would definitely say that this is the more artsy, sketchy, and most unique place in London.
I reunited with my sister! I couldn’t have been more excited to be around someone who I actually knew. My sister and her five friends arrived so that they could see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I introduced them to a lot of food places and one of them was Sprinkles. Below is Brownie Heaven which has a fluffy waffle with Nutella and banana with vanilla ice cream. As a group, we also went on the London Eye and it was really nice to feel like time wasn’t quite moving. The whole circle took about 35 minutes.
The very last bit was a whirlwind of travel. We went to the Harry Potter Studio Tour and then went to see the London Eye and Big Ben at night. Just so everyone knows, the Harry Potter Studio Tour might be a bit pricey but it is absolutely worth it and will bring our your inner Hogwarts. We went to Cardiff on our last day to the Doctor Who Experience. I loved this experience as well and took pictures with all the Daleks. Can I be the Dalek queen? We also went on a walking tour of some of the locations that Doctor Who filmed at around Cardiff. Mermaid Quay is a huge food building that had amazing choices which is where we ended our tour. Sadly, that was the last bit of fun we had before the flight back home. The cool thing was that I met someone who was studying abroad at my old university.
