Nothing better than waking up on your first day of the semester to find out that your car literally won’t open because the lock is frozen.  Frozen shut and I tried so many different options:

I tried causing friction with the key and lock.
I tried using my hands to warm up the key.
I tried anti-freeze liquid.
I tried using hot water and placing my key inside.
You know what I had to do? I had to use three extension cords and a hair dryer. Within ten seconds my lock was working and things were well off. I finally had the chance to go to school and made it through the day without mishap. I still have the hair dryer now to help me unlock, in case I need it.

The great thing about today though? A snowstorm happened and I didn’t have to go to school today. Boo-yah!
