Review: Sinful Colors Unicorn

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I have yet to find a stellar yellow nail polish. I know that yellow isn’t usually the color of choice when painting nails but, for some reason, I love just having a bright pop of color. Let me know in the comments if you have tried a yellow nail polish that doesn’t break too much bank!

Packaging: Sinful Colors has a great packaging that is easy to use and open when your nails are wet. I have also dropped a bottle here and there and they haven’t broken so it is made of pretty durable material.

Durability: If I use my Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat, this will last about a week. I do a lot of hands-on work with fabrics so my nail polish tends to come off quicker than if you don’t use your hands too much.

Pigmentation: Alas, my problem with this nail polish is that it is too sheer. I put on two to three coats, depending on which nail it will be opaque. I busted my middle finger on my right hand and so it is awkward, at times, to paint my nails. This polish is also one that will bubble up quickly if you have a fan running in the room. The pigmentation of this is pretty good over all but if you are using it as a mix with other bright colors, it can actually “disappear” and hardly show up unless you are looking intently for it. Also, this polish tends to be on the runny side, which is probably why it is so sheer.

Budget: $1.99 at Walgreens and usually goes on sale for $0.99! A steal and great if you want to try other polishes from them. I definitely recommend.
