Alright, so I thought it would be interesting to share some of the food that I have tried or love at restaurants I frequent often. Today, I wanted to talk about the McAlister’s Chicken Cavtappi. Out of the three pastas that were released, this one caught my interest. Anyone else here love pasta? So, the cool thing about this pasta is that it comes with two slices of bread with pesto on it! I am starting to like pesto more and having it spread across bread, which I am not crazy about either, is so good! I will say that the bread was not that warm when I had it, closer to the colder side. I don’t know if it was because my bread was already prepped and ready or they let it sit out but my bread was not hot.

The great thing about this pasta is that you can choose the sauce that you want. I love this option because I am not a fan of tomato based sauces. There are three options: tomato, four cheese, and marinara, which is one of the best things about this pasta. The chicken was well cooked when I got it and tasted really nice with the fresh tomatoes that came along with the pasta. This pasta is more on the heavier side but not as heavy as a thick cream…if that makes sense.

Unfortunately, I guess my stomach was weak that day, I had a huge stomachache because I drank lemonade and had pasta that had cheese. I am partially lactose intolerant, some days are worse than others. I hope that this didn’t make you shy away, I am just really picky about my pasta because I eat it almost every time I go out.
