Review: St. Ives Blemish Control Green Tea Gel Cleanser

Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here and I have a great cleanser that really works in my routine now, not to mention that it smells amazing! I cannot tell you how much help this was to my acne! Also, I use this maybe twice a week because over applying can cause your skin to dry. Since I use the green tea scrub as well, you can read that post HERE, I find if I alternate the use of the products, my skin is fine.

Packaging: I like that this is a simple design and is also slim so if you put it in your shower it won’t take up a lot of space. I use this out of the shower, usually in the morning. The nozzle is one that you have to turn strategically so that it won’t spill during travel and has been a struggle at times to make sure it goes down but when it does it stays (as far as my experience with it).

Durability: It really depends on the condition of my skin because this does help get rid of redness but on some days it works better than others. After my skin has calmed down from the cleanser and cooled off, the redness is almost non-existent. So, if your skin looks red still, give it a few minutes. I like that this is a gel so it doesn’t foam up like most cleansers. I find that the ones that foam work less for me than ones that are creams or gels.

Pigmentation: A really light green that makes your skin feel like there is a kind of mint cooling action going on but it is just the green tea at work.

Budget: Approximately $5.00+ I couldn’t find it online so you may have to check your local stores.
