DIY Good Things Jar

I am so sorry that I didn’t get this up yesterday! I know that I meant to but I got busy yesterday, no excuses though! I am really excited to share this with all of you because it is something that is near and dear to me that I think a lot of people can benefit from. Sometimes I let all the negative energy in my life get to me and that makes me sad and unmotivated with life. So, to remind me of the good things, I made my own Good Things Jar.

Above is my Good Things Jar that I actually didn’t spend any money on. The container is an old chocolate gift jar from the holidays two years ago and I had no clue what to use it for until now. The two bracelets on top are just for decoration and I got those from a coin machine when I was really into arm candy. The vinyl decal is something that my sister printed and you can specially request it at our Etsy shop: The Crafty Lot or you can just keep the jar plain and clear.

These three notepads came in a set and I started to use these because I didn’t have to buy them and they are cute. I think that you can definitely use almost anything to store the good things that happen to you in 2015. All of the pieces of folded paper you see in my jar above are actual good things…well, at least to me, that I wanted to commemorate.

Fun Tip: I like to decorate the title, which is the date of when the event happened, and write the note in a fun way.

I plan to keep all the good things that happen to me in 2015 in here and then share them with all of you at the end of 2015 or beginning of 2016.

Do you have a way to remind yourself of good things? Leave a comment!
