I didn’t do the People’s Choice Awards and I apologize, but to move on I am definitely doing more award shows! Top 2 images from Huffington Post. Last image from US Magazine.
Kate Hudson in Versace
This dress is everything. Okay, maybe not everything but it is stunning and classy at the same time. I think that Kate Hudson has made some pretty good choices on the red carpet but this one takes the cake! I think that the beautiful silhouette of this gown goes so well with her physique and the simplicity in the jewelry and hair. I love that she pulled her hair back so that the dress could really shine and made sure her clutch matched so that it didn’t make this a color block kind of outfit.
Felicity Jones in Christian Dior
Okay, I may be a little biased on this outfit because Christian Dior is my favorite designer but that doesn’t mean that this isn’t an amazing dress. I love that this is all one simple color with the neckline being so high up and yet with a box pleat that adds dimension. The pleats on the skirt of the dress add volume to the gown and, if only you could see the back! There are so many small buttons that you know it would take a long time for someone to get into this gown. The jewelry is quite simple here as well since compared to Kate Hudson’s dress, this is much more conservative. I think that both are still quite classy, respectfully.
Greer Grammer in Lorena Sarbu
I have never heard of Lorena Sarbu but I have heard of Greer Grammer and I think that this dress is youthful and fun while still being elegant. The sweetheart neckline adds femininity and the gown’s golden overlay on tulle, it seems, is quite nice. I love that Greer also kept her accessories minimal because the gown really does act as it’s own accessory.
