Happy New Year, Fleeters! I know that a lot of you are new and some of you are actually from my previous blogs, so I wanted to explain why I call you “Fleeters”.
It sounds strange, doesn’t it? I consider you all more a part of my life than actual people in my life sometimes because a like or comment from you really brings my spirits up. I don’t have to be shameful when I post up something sad or bad in my day and I can express what I love, like fashion and makeup and cooking.

I think that my emotions pass by so quickly and when I had created Fleeting Mermaid, my personal blog, it was a way for me to tell you all what I was feeling. I think that it has been a great learning experience for me because I have been able to release stressful emotions by writing my thoughts into a post.
I think that by calling you my Fleeters that in the moments that you are on my blog, you are going about your day and taking a moment to stop and stare (cue OneRepublic), essentially.
So, to end this after a long explanation, thank you Fleeters for coming along this journey because I cannot do this without you.
