Well, I have never been around when my employer is bashing an employee but you know what they say, “there’s a first time for everything.” I am ready to hand sew an elastic shoulder strap, my manager is letting me know what I will need to do. I ask a question so she heads over to one that is done so that I can have a visual to go off of. She looks and is upset that it is done wrong when she told my friend, who I had just been reunited with, what to do two times.
My boss came out and my manager and her both began to talk about it and thought that my friend was way too cocky. I can see what they mean since sometimes she can have ideas and really goes with them rather than makin sure that it is the way that she is supposed to do it. They went into further detail about how my friend was not following their way because the way the business runs is on consistency. So, once someone decides to deviate, it throws everyone off.
I don’t know if not telling her what they said is my place, I don’t think that it is because I am not her employer and I am not trying to tell her what to do. What do you think? I mean, my boss actually texted her about it and told her that she shouldn’t quit her other job and that she was not offered a full time job when I was told from my friend that she was offered the job after her first day. I think that there is some major miscommunication.
