I cannot tell you how excited I am about the fact that I love the Women of the Otherworld series! Kelley Armstrong just really knows how to get you to fall in love with characters, hate characters, and even feel sympathy towards them. All great aspects of a great author.

My first reaction when I found out about this series was “HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS?!” This series premiered earlier in 2014.

Bitten is about Elena Michaels who was bitten by her fiance, Clayton Danvers, in the past and in present day she is adapting to be more human than werewolf but it is becoming difficult for her. When a family emergency arrives she is caught between two lives and must find out who is killing innocent humans and leaving their bodies near or on the Danvers property.

Casting: You all must know that I get knit picky about casting and it isn’t by the way that they look as a person but really as described in the book. The only person in the cast that I am still on edge about is Jeremy (to the right of Elena in picture above). Jeremy in the books (if I am not mistaken) is half Japanese and half American. I absolutely understand that it can be hard to find an actor that fits the description but I don’t feel that the actor’s portrayal has grown on me yet. I am still waiting to see how authoritative he is…

Aside from the casting, the show is great, the acting is great, and it always leaves you guessing if you haven’t read the books. If you want to read the books there are thirteen of them with one more, a total of fourteen books!!! I am in love with this series and cannot wait for season 2!
