Day 1 of Nacho Week and I usually just purchase the rice in a bag that you toss in a pan and make. This time I didn’t have the luxury because I forgot to buy it so I decided to make my own inspired version of spanish rice.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Dried minced garlic
1. Wash your rice. [I have never had a rice cooker in my house, I have always cooked rice in a giant dome pan.]
2. Once your rice is done, start placing rice into a pan that has dried minced garlic and oil. Add your seasonings (all of the above).
3. Mix everything together, add oil so that the rice stays hydrated, and keep mixing to your liking.
Optional: You can add tomatoes for color and flavor.
