Hello ShopaHAULics, Tiffany here, and I chopped my hair off…okay, only 8″ but it is a pretty big thing when I do so. My hair went from mid-lower back to shoulder length. I think that the last time I had cut this much off was when I was in my sophmore/junior year of high school. I am a junior in college now. Anyway, I decided I would cut my hair off for Pantene Beautiful Lengths because it is a good cause.
Why not choose Locks of Love? Well, Locks of Love for me was limiting to who they gave their wigs to, not that it isn’t important for children but the age limit is 21 and under. However, between the two, I know that Locks of Love is well known. I found out about Pantene through Ulta when my sister was looking up where she could donate her locks after cutting it off.
I know that Locks of Love requires a 10″ minimum and Pantene is 8″ minimum. I have no problrm with length requirements at all but that is just something for you to chew on if you are thinking of which place to give your hair to and what the length minimum is.
Personally, for me, I feel that it is important for all people to feel beautiful and to broaden who my hair goes to, I would rather it go to many than a controlled age group.
Now, you know how they say that when you cut your hair, you are a new person? I have to say that I don’t feel like a new person but it is different and I need different this summer since my last summer was less than stellar so here is to an amazing summer and a liberation of emotions past!
