Somewhere in Time is a movie that is about a successful playwright, Richard Collier (Christopher Reeves), and his quest to find an actress, Elise McKenna (Jane Seymour), and they fall in love almost instantaneously.  This movie is strange and yet endearing because any person can relate to the love that these two share, at least in hoping or living in it. The costumes are amazing and the scenery is beautiful. This movie has comedy and romance that anyone would be looking for in a movie.

Normally I am not a person who watches “older” movies, this was released in 1980, but it was recommended to me and I felt that it was time to watch it before I met the person who introduced it to me again. I have to say that I really enjoyed it. For some reason not watching it right now I don’t feel as in love but when you sit down and watch it, you are engulfed and you really wonder about love and how timeless it really can be. Anyway, I would recommend it for all of you because it is a love story and a classic that you will want to watch. I love the movies that not many people know about because they speak to people on a different level than a cult classic.
