Before you pass judgment on how this movie is like Twilight without even seeing it, I surely hope that you will reconsider. The Host is a very interesting take on another species taking over the human race. I read the book a long time ago and watching this recently I was shocked at how much I remembered and didn’t. I think that having a visual to watching this book come to life is amazing. I may not remember as much but I do know that they kept the same shell of the novel. I also think that if you haven’t read the book that you should definitely watch this! The publicity for this movie makes it seem like a love story and I would be lying to say that it isn’t but this movie is a great action packed and end-of-seat kind of movie! Promise!
