I just finished my first week of my internship and I finally got the chance to snooze for the day and relax. I just caught up on some of my shows and got to really just unwind. I have done a lot of work with clean up and cutting fabrics. In case you all don’t know, I am in college to get a degree in theatre with an emphasis in costuming. I think that it is really great for me to work over the summer, even though I don’t get paid. I know that most parents would be upset and mine are not totally on board but they understand that I need to do things to support my “career”. Slowly I have started to really use my status as assistant designer because I was able to make some choices about fabrics that me and my professor chose.
