I want to take a moment to let you know that there is a way to get out of the house both efficiently and faster than normal. I also want to let you know that this is for both boys and girls because the first thing I am addressing may be too girly for boys but I swear it is worth the time saver that you will have.
1. Have your clothes READY!
I found this out my senior year. I seriously took clothes from my closet that I wanted to wear for the week and hung it in my bathroom so I didn’t have to go through the hassle of spending 5-10 minutes looking to figure out what to wear. Boys may think that they just grab somethin and, yeah, they do sometimes but there are times where you will need to be prepared and have something picked out like for a presentation or school event that requires dress up. I also did the same with jewelry and paired it up with an outfit for the week.
2. Have you bookbag PACKED!
I know you are probably tired after you have finished your homework and leave it on your desk or bed or somewhere in the house. If you have ever left anything at home it was probably because you forgot to pack it in your bookbag, right? Trust me, I have forgotten things that were important like homework that counted as a quiz grade or a quiz that needed to be signed, something like that. I keep my bookbag in one place and tired or not I pack away my school items and take what I need for the next day since I had A-B day classes which are every other day. It is really dandy and saves you time in the morning.
3. Have two ALARMS
If you are one of those people who click the snooze button (*raise hand* I am guilty) then you will need two alarms. I am not saying get two alarm clocks but if you have a sibling who goes to school with you and gets up early or a parent who is up making you lunch, have them call out your name or shake you awake or even have your cellphone (if your lucky enough to have one) set to wake you up a few minutes later. My first alarm was at 6:00 and I knew I had to get up at 6:30 so I would make sure to just rest my eyes and soon I got used to it.
Those are my three tips that will help you manage and save your time.
Thanks!
